Tottenham linked with moves for Chelsea midfielder

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur are already making plans to improve their squad by signing new players.

The recent reports has claimed the Hotspurs are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

This comes amid doubt over the future of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso at the North London club.

The Hotspurs stand a good chance o signing Gallagher who is said to be keen on leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

However, Tottenham must be ready to spend big as Gallagher’s current deal with the Blues would expire in the summer of 2025.

The midfielder is yet to reach an agreement with the Blues on a possible  contract extension.

However, considering Chelsea poor form and no European tournament, Gallagher possibly leave than pen another contract.

Aside from Tottenham, Newcastle United are said to be also insisted in signing Gallagher, however, their limited finances will make them drop interest.

A report via Football Insider revealed that owing to Gallagher’s preference to remain in London, Tottenham are leading the race and are considered the favourite to seal the deal in the summer.
