Tottenham and three other clubs that could lift the Premier League this season

The English Premier League continues to look unpredictable this season but former England striker, Michael Owen has revealed his prediction on the four clubs that could lift the title this season.

According to the Owen, the reigning champions Liverpool could lift the title again as he also revealed that Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham also have the chance of winning.

Tottenham Hotspurs have been spectacular this season under Jose Mourinho as they have lost just one game so far this season and sit top of the Premier League after 10 matches.

The reigning champions Liverpool are also one points behind Tottenham, while Chelsea are currently seated at the third spot with two points behind Tottenham and Liverpool.

Big clubs Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal are at the 9th, 11th and 14th spots respectively following a poor starts in the 2020/2021 campaign.

Owen, however, feels the Premier League title race is currently “wide open”, but says only four teams can realistically lift the trophy this season.

He told BT Sport: “If ever there was a season where you think a team could win it who you didn’t fancy at the start, it’s this one. It’s wide open right now.

“But I still narrow it down to four teams: Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham. Chelsea have a great shout.”
