Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has issued a strong warning to Germany internationals

Timo Werner and Kai Havertz as he noted that it is time for them to fight for their Chelsea futures.

Frank Lampard brought in Kai Havertz and Timo Werner during the transfer window but none has been able to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.

Kai Havertz and Timo Werner’s inability to hit good form saw Frank Lampard being dismissed as Chelsea boss and Tuchel was tasked with reviving their fortunes.

Though Timo Werner has been showing good signs under Tuchel, the former Paris Saint-Germain manager insist both the former RB Leipzig striker and Kai Havertz must step up.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea clash with Atletico Madrid, Tuchel stated that both players have a lot of potential, at the same time the club demands a lot of them and he can understand.

According to Tuchel, the club spent a lot of money, they spent a lot of money and it is time both player step up and fight for it.

On the chances f reviving their fortunes at Chelsea, Tuchel stated that they fit into any plans of any manager because they have strong potential, strong talent and it is obvious.

He added that first of all, Werner and Havertz did a brave decision to go abroad to jump out of their comfort zone.

Tuchel noted that Werner was the top guy in Leipzig while Kai was the top, go-to guy in Leverkusen and to jump abroad to go to the most demanding league in Europe and to go to a club like Chelsea where people demand results, where people demand, expect even, titles if possible it’s a huge step out of their comfort zone.
