Chelsea boss ready to spend big this summer

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will allegedly be supported by owner Roman Abramovich with a £260m transfer financial plan in the mid year window.

The Premier league giant were among the greatest spenders a year ago, splashing out more than £220m onTimo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy.

The Blues’ spending spree has not been sufficient to close the hole on their title rivals, notwithstanding, with Frank Lampard paying the price in January when replaced by Thomas Tuchel after bad results.

The ex-Paris Saint-Germain boss has made a splendid start to his Stamford Bridge tenure and, as per report, he will be given much more money to spend this summer than Frank Lampard had a year ago.

Bayern Munich centre back Niklas Sule is another supposed target for Chelsea this summer.
