Summer transfer window: Chelsea announce exit of two players

Chelsea have confirmed the exit of two of their players amid the summer transfer window.

The two Chelsea players who recent left Stamford Bridge are Ian Maatsen and Hakim Ziyech.

Chelsea made this public in separate updates via their official website on Friday.

While Maatsen remains in the Premier League after signing a deal with the Blues rival Aston Villa on a permanent transfer, Ziyech moved to the Turkish league where he joined Galatasaray.

Chelsea in an official statement said Ian Maatsen has left and completed a permanent transfer to Aston Villa.

The club appreciated  Maatsen for his efforts at Stamford Bridge and wish him well for the future.

On Ziyech’s the Blues disclosed that Moroccan who joined the Turkish side on loan last summer has now departed Chelsea on a permanent basis.

They also appreciated Ziyech for his efforts during his time at Stamford Bridge and wish him well as he begins the next chapter of his career.

The recent exit of Maatsen and Ziyech comes as the west London side prefer for another period under their new manager Enzo Maresca, who officially takes over in a few days time.
