Special praise for Chelsea’s unique player after win Vs Brighton
Chelsea have been trending following their major win against Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Following the victory, former Newcastle United star, Alan Shearer couldn’t help but praise Chelsea’s ‘special player’ Cole Palmer.
According to Shearer, Palmer is a great character, stressing that nothing fazes the England winger.
Recall that the 22-year-old was impressive for the Blues this weekend, leading them to beat Brighton 4-2 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Palmer scored all four goals as Chelsea led by manager Enzo Maresca defeated Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
“Four goals eh? Unbelievable, special player”, Shearer told the Premier League website.
Palmer, once again has proven to be the sole stand out signing the Blues welcomed under their new owner Todd Boehly.
Recall that Palmer joined the Blues from Premier League champions Manchester City, who may now be having an after thought on why they sold him.
The English winger during his time at Etihad Stadium was struggling with regular game time as the Citizens are stockpiled with top players.
Chelsea’s performance this season under Maresca, who they signed as a replacement for former manager Mauricio Pochettino, has been impressive.
If the Blues maintain their form, they could soon be among the favourites who could clinch the Premier League title from Man City this season.
