Solskjaer confirms this 23-year-old Man Utd player will play vs. Liverpool
Manchester United are currently in top form and would hope to replicate it today when they face EPL champions, Liverpool in the FA Cup.
Ahead of the match, the Red Devils coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Donny Van de Beek is unhappy at Old Trafford.
This is likely because the player has not have enough playing chances since moving to Man Utd from Ajax in a deal worth £35million in the summer transfer window.
So far, Van de Beek has made only nine starts with just two of them in the Premier League.
However, Solskjaer in a statement revealed the 23-year-old midfielder reminded him of when he became a Super Sub under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Solskjaer said he wouldn’t say that Donny is happy. He revealed that he wants to play more, but he gets about his job in the right manner.
The Red Devils coach added that the young midfielder understands his challenges and difficulties.
However, ahead of the Red Devils face off vs. Liverpool, Solskjaer confirmed that Van de Beek will be involved.
The coach also assured that the midfielder would play many more games as he is an important player.
Man Utd are currently seated at the top of the EPL table.
