Chelsea defender and Germany international Antonio Rudiger has topped the list of the fastest player in the Premier League.

Rudiger came ahead of the likes of Mohamed Salah and Adama Traore to clock the fastest speed.

The German has been in impressive form for the Blues this season, even though his current contract expires at the end of this season.

So far this season, Rudiger has played 26 of Chelsea’s 28 Premier League matches, keeping 12 clean sheets and scoring twice, as well as producing two assists.

But according to OptaJoe, Rudiger can certainly shift, having clocked the highest speed of the season during a clash against Brighton.

He had a speed of 36.7km/h, which was a fraction quicker than Salah and Traore, who have been measured going at 36.6km/h.

Ibrahima Konate is another Liverpool player on the list with a speed of 36.2 km/h.
