Chelsea player, Toni Rudiger has been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Rudiger, who joined the Blues from AS Roma in 2017 has grown to become one of the team’s top-rated defenders at Chelsea.

With his current contract with Chelsea set to runs out in June 2022, there are indications that Rudiger is not in a hurry to extend his deal.

The Athletic reports that Rudiger is not in any rush to discuss his future at Stamford Bridge, as he wants to focus on Euro 2020, where he represents Germany.

Rudiger who is 28 may have realized that he has few more years to go in his football career, therefore he could have plans to ensure that the next contract he signs is a big one.

The reports have revealed that the German international is demanding a four-year deal that would see him become one of the top 10 earners at Chelsea.

While Rudiger is currently not a regular in the Blues squad under new manager Thomas Tuchel, he, however, played a major role in the Blues’ recent success in the Uefa Champions League tournament.

It is unlikely that the Blues will accede to his request of a four-year deal and this means he may have to move elsewhere this summer.
