Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the many players that has been linked with moves to Chelsea this summer as he wants to leave Old Trafford following their failure to win trophies.

However, Chelsea may have to look elsewhere as Portuguese football expert, Pedro Sepulveda, in a statement claimed that Ronaldo will not sign for any of the Red Devils’ domestic rivals.

Speaking with Sky Sports, Sepulveda said that the striker was looking to play in the Champions League and not Europa League next season.

“You can forget the English clubs – Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham. I’m 100 per cent sure Ronaldo will not play for another club in England.

“Ronaldo doesn’t fit into the new project at PSG.

“It leaves Bayern Munich as an option.

“Bayern were a little bit confused when (Jorge) Mendes offered them Ronaldo as he’s not the type of player they’d usually look for,” he said.

In another report, Ronaldo will be unavailable for the Red Devils’ preseason tour as he is not expected to fly out with the rest of the squad on Friday.
