This summer transfer deadline day was another busy day for those at Chelsea with some players needing to leave the club in search of first-team football.

Though some players were able to leave the club either on a loan move or a permanent deal, one player who couldn’t leave was Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The England international is back at Stamford Bridge after spending last season on loan but has failed to impress Thomas Tuchel during pre-season.

A new report from TalkSport has now claimed that Chelsea offered the midfielder to West Ham United on a loan deal.

However, West Ham United turned down the offer and instead chose to seal a move for Alex Kral who joined from CSKA Moscow.

Kral joined West Ham United on an initial loan deal but the London club have an obligation to buy him next summer.

Loftus-Cheek stay at Chelsea didn’t stop the club from signing another midfielder as Saul Niguez joined the blues from Atletico Madrid.

The England international will now have to force his way into Thomas Tuchel’s team with the likes of Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Cristain Pulisic ahead of him in the team.
