Chelsea star, Hakim Ziyech was left out of the Morocco team that will face Sudan and Guinea in a world cup qualifier match because of unacceptable behaviour.

Ziyech has become an important player under Thomas Tuchel but he was a surprise omission last week when Morocco released their squad for the international break.

Reason, why he was dropped, was not mentioned at that time but Morocco National Team coach Vahid Halilhodzic on Wednesday opened up on the blues star absence.

Speaking to the press, Halilhodzic stated that Ziyech behaviour in the last two matches, especially the last one, was not that of a national team player who as a leader in the team has to be positive role model.

Halilhodzic noted that Ziyech arrived late and after that he even refused to work.

The former Paris Saint-Germain coach noted that there was no point in discussing it afterwards, as a coach the answer is right there to see.

Halilhodzic insisted that the national team is above everything, nobody can hold it hostage.

The Morocco national team coach also added that Ziyech refused to play the first game against Ghana, maintaining that he was injured despite that the medical team confirmed that he’s fit.

This is not the first time Ziyech will be having issues with his coach at the national team level, he was left out of the squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals over his altitude.
