Chelsea star and England international Reece James was among those that were dissatisfied with the poor officiating against the club during their Sunday match vs Tottenham Hotspurs.

The Sunday match at Stamford Bridge saw the Blues take the lead in the first half, thanks to Kalidou Koulibaly’s goal and dominated the game until Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored an equaliser for the visitors.

Chelsea felt Kai Havertz was fouled by Rodrigo Bentancur in the build-up to the goal, while Richarlison was offside.

James would go on to score a second goal for the Blues before Harry Kane ended their dream of winning all three points with a late equaliser towards the end of the match.

Chelsea again felt the goal should not have been allowed as replay showed Cristian Romero fouling Marc Cucurella just prior.

“There were two arguable goals for them. I think the referees and the fourth official need to look back on them. It’s frustrating for us when you deserve to win the game.

‘I don’t know what they [the officials] were looking at,” James told reporters after the game.
