Paris Saint-Germain forward and France international Kylian Mbappe will now remain at the club for another season.

This comes as Mbappe is now in talks with the club to sign a new contract, according to Foot Mercato.

The latest update comes after he was restored to the Ligue 1 champions’ first-team squad.

Recall that Mbappe was left out of the PSG squad after he refused to sign a contract extension with the French club.

However, during a meeting on Sunday, the club president Nasser Al Khelaifi reportedly told the players that “Kylian is invested in the club” and is now at the disposal of manager Luis Enrique.

The new terms of Mbappe’s contract renewal revealed it is only a one-year contract extension, meaning Mbappe would be tied down until 2025 with Les Parisiens.

Both sides may also reach a private agreement on a departure clause.

He is expected to leave the French capital next summer, presumably for Spanish side Real Madrid, which is his preferred destination.
