French Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint Germain PSG have ruled out move to sign Barcelona star, Lionel Messi.

This comes after Sporting director Leonardo played down transfer rumours linking PSG with a sensational move for Messi.

The 32-year-old made it into transfer news some days ago after Brazil star, Neymar disclosed his interest to reunite with Messi in France.

Neymar said he would love to play alongside the Argentine talisman once again.

While 32-year-old Messi is likely move on from Barcelona in the summer as his current contract ends this season, PSG have however dismissed interest in Mess.

“No. You know, it’s normal for Neymar to say that to an Argentinian journalist. He had to talk about Messi. It’s normal,” he told Canal+ .

“We have to maintain respect for others. He’s a Barcelona player. When somebody talks about our players, we are not happy. So we don’t touch other people’s players. Now is not the time to think about the transfer window.

“We are very happy with the squad we have. We are thinking of our season and the end of the first part of the season, which was very complicated.”

With the looks of things, Manchester City could become Messi’s new club as they had showed interest to sign him last summer but it didn’t work out.
