Conte working to reunite with Giroud and this Chelsea midfielder at Inter
Chelsea star forward, Olivier Giroud has once again being linked with moves to Italian club, Inter Milan ahead of January.
Giroud has been in the transfer news for some weeks now with the report disclosing that Inter Milan alongside rivals, AC Milan are ready to bring him to Italy.
Well, in a new report via Tuttosport, it revealed that former Chelsea manager turn Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte is working to reunite with the 34-year-old forward and Chelsea midfielder, N’golo Kante.
Conte during his stay at Stamford Bridge worked with both men and knows there capabilities as he hopes to arrange a reunion at San Siro.
While Giroud’s current contract with the Blues will end in the summer thus making him a free agent, his performance in the last few days could make Chelsea renew his contract for at least another year.
It is also unlikely that the Blues will accept any deal to sign him in January.
Giroud has also indicated interest to remain at Stamford Bridge so long he keeps getting enough playing chances under coach Frank Lampard.
A move for Kante might not work out either except if Inter Milan are ready spend heavily as he still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current contract and he is also a key player at Stamford Bridge.
