Former Liverpool star, Graeme Souness in a statement has revealed the main problem Chelsea’s new manager will face.

Ahead of any last minutes changes, the Blues are tipped to name former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino as their new permanent manager.

According to the reports, the Blues are close to naming Pochettino as their next permanent new coach ahead of next season.

Recall that Chelsea had sacked Graham Potter and brought in Frank Lampard as interim manager until the end of the season.

However, Souness opined that Pochettino’s main problem at Chelsea would be to secure a top-level striker.

“What a great job Chelsea would be for Mauricio Pochettino,” Souness told the Daily Mail.

“There are the makings of a very good squad there. His main problem would be exactly the same one that Graham Potter struggled with. The lack of a top-class striker. The challenge is to find one.”
