Former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been tipped to emerge as Chelsea’s next manager.

Ahead of his official appointments, there are claims Pochettino has taken a decision on Joao Felix’s future at Stamford Bridge.

According to the reports, Pochettino wants to Keep Felix at Chelsea and pair him with Romelu Lukaku, who is tipped to return this summer, at the front.

A report via the Sun revealed that Felix is likely to stay put at Chelsea for another season despite his loan expiring in the summer.

There are speculations the Portugal star will sign another loan deal from Atletico Madrid for another season.

This is expected to cost the Blues £18 million in fees in addition to his £250,000 a week wages.

Recall that Felix joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in January on loan until the end of the season for £9 million.

While there was no option to buy in his deal, the 23-year-old signed a one-year extension with the La Liga giants before the move.

With the look of things, Felix is expected to remain at Chelsea once Pochettino’s appointment is confirmed.
