Tensions are rising at Stamford Bridge as Frank Lampard continues to make headlines concerning his future at Chelsea.

Frank Lampard has seen his Chelsea side lose four matches in their last six, slipping down to eight on the log and this has raised eyebrows from fans pundits.

The Blues title credentials is being questioned as many believes Frank Lampard is not the man to lead Chelsea to a title glory despite spending fortunes during the transfer window.

Former Premier League striker Darren Bent has now shared his opinion on Lampard’s future as he noted that Chelsea will have no alternative but to sack manager if they are beaten at home by League Two side Morecambe on Sunday.

Chelsea will be meeting Morcambe in their FA cup third round match on Sunday and all eyes will be on them as they aim to revive their season.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Bent stated that if Chelsea get defeated by Morecambe, Frank Lampard has to go.

Listing some signings Frank Lampard made over the summer, Bent insisted that there will be no excuse for Chelsea, because whatever team they decide to put out it’s going to be strong.

Just take the centre forward, for example, If Olivier Giroud doesn’t play, Tammy Abraham will play, and if Abraham doesn’t play, Werner will play, so Chelsea must win.
