Pre-season tour: Rice, Timber join 25 other Arsenal players as they travel to the US

Arsenal have left England for the US as part of their pre-season tour.

The Gunners manager, Mikel Arteta on Sunday in a statement via the club’s website revealed he flew to the United States with 27 squad.

According to the reports, Arsenal left London Stansted Airport on Sunday afternoon via Emirates 777 aircraft.

They begin their pre-season tour after their two friendlies against Watford and 1. FC Nurnberg.

In the US, the North London club will go head to head against the MLS All-Stars team led by Wayne Rooney at Audi Field, Washington D.C on Wednesday.

They will also play against Manchester United in the MetLife Stadium on Saturday, July 22 and end their US tour with a game against Barcelona in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 26 at SoFi Stadium.

The duo of Emile Smith Rowe and Thomas Partey are expected to join the rest of the squad next week.
