Pochettino set to contact this Everton midfielder

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed his intention to contact Everton midfielder Dele Alli.

Recall that Pochettino coached Alli during their time together at Tottenham Hotspur until the Argentine left in November 2019.

However, the former England midfielder who was one of the shining players at Tottenham, flopped at Everton, before struggling during a loan spell at Turkish side Besiktas.

While Alli is now back at Goodison Park, Pochettino, who recently took over as Chelsea’s new permanent manager is planning to reach out and see if there is any way he can help the 27-year-old midfielder.

“I hope to have some time to call and see because he is a great guy, and I want to talk a little bit with him and hear.

“I want to help him and see what is going on with him. He is still young. And for sure, he has the mentality.

“Now it’s a long time since I spoke to him but I want to contact him again and see what is going on,” Pochettino said.
