Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to be unconvinced over the club’s decision to sign Juventus striker, Dusan Vlahovic this summer transfer window.

The Blues have been in talks with the Old Ladies this summer with the Serie A giants currently unable to reach an agreement over a fee for Romelu Lukaku.

However, the Italian club are open to including Vlahovic as part of the exchange deal but are demanding £34.4m (€40m) for the 23-year-old, as well as Lukaku.

Meanwhile, the Guardian reported that senior figures at Chelsea are split on the signing of Vlahovic, with Pochettino among those who are ‘less keen’ on the Serbian star.

The report added that the West London side are ‘unlikely’ to press ahead with a move for Vlahovic if Pochettino is not fully on board with the idea.

This also means Lukaku may not have a club to play for next season as he is not in Pochettino’s plan at Chelsea.
