Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is now under intense pressure to improve the Blues squad.

This comes as the recent update revealed Pochettino is set to make a big change in his team, in a bid to keep his job.

The Argentine’s decision comes after their 4-2 home defeat to Wolves over the weekend.

At the end of the match, there were boos around Stamford Bridge, only mounting pressure on Pochettino.

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva’s wife appeared to call for Pochettino’s sack on social media following the result.

The result against Wolves saw Chelsea move to the 11th place on the table, reducing their chances of playing European football next season.

A report via the Evening Standard revealed Pochettino is now considering a formation switch to a three-man defence.

Chelsea have typically lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation for the whole of the season but could switch to a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 to help provide more balance in midfield and allow Ben Chilwell a greater attacking license at wing-back.

It could also help give greater support in central defence, a position where Chelsea have a plethora of options.
