Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives positive update on the future of 28-year-old star
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed the latest update about the future of Paul Pogba at the club.
Paul Pogba, 28, has continue to be linked with a move away from Manchester United with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain the two clubs eager to sign him.
The former Juventus midfielder’s current contract with United is set to expire at the end of this season but the Red Devils are willing to extend his contract.
Paul Pogba returned to training this week after returning from an extended holiday following his participation in Euro 2020 and Solskjaer is pleased with his altitude.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro, Solskjaer stated that he hope every player thinks Manchester United is the place to be to win trophies.
According to Solskjaer, when you sign for Manchester United, you have to rise to the challenge.
He noted that Pogba has come back and he’s fresh and he’s always such a positive boy adding that the talks they’ve had with him have all been positive.
Pogba will be eager to continue his good performance for United this season.
Last season, the French international made three assists and scored three goals in the Premier League for Manchester United as they ended the season without a trophy.
