New Manchester United star reveals why he made the switch to Old Trafford this summer
Manchester United new signing, Raphael Varane has revealed why he decided to join the red devils this summer after another brilliant season with Real Madrid.
Varane was finally unveiled as a United player on Saturday just hours after he completed his £35million move from Spanish giant, Real Madrid.
Though the move experienced a delay due to issues over the final paperwork, Varane was on the pitch before United’s match against Leeds United and he was given a warm reception.
Speaking to United’s official website ahead of his debut, Varane has now opened up on why he made the move this summer despite all he has achieved at Real Madrid.
Varane stated that it was a good moment because of a lot of things.
The world cup winner noted that the most important one is it’s a new challenge and it’s a big motivation to start in a new league in a big club like Manchester United.
Varane added that this opportunity was amazing for him, so he chose this change for himself and his family.
Varane spent a glorious decade at Real Madrid going on to make 360 appearances for Los Blancos and might be making his debut in United’s next match.
