Napoli confirm Chelsea target’s release clause

Italian club Napoli president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, in a recent statement, has confirmed there is a release clause in Victor Osimhen’s contract.

Recall that Osimhen signed a new deal with Napoli last December.

The deal reportedly includes a €120m- €130m release clause.

De Laurentiis also dropped a hint about the Nigeria international making a big money transfer from the reigning Serie A champions this summer.

While he didn’t state the exact figure, Napoli’s President stated that Osimhen’s release clause is a high one.

“Some players stay for many years, others are wanted by PSG, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea,” De Laurentiis was quoted by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

“I can confirm there’s a release clause, very high one”.

This is coming after weeks Osimhen said he know where he will be playing his football next season.

So far, the 25-year-old football star has been linked with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Arsenal.

“It’s difficult to keep players when they are wanted by rich clubs”.
