Mount completes medical at Man Utd

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is close to sealing a move to Manchester United as he recently completed his medicals with the Red Devils.

The reports revealed that the English star underwent medical tests at Manchester United’s Carrington training facility on Monday morning.

Popular transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano in a statement revealed that the 24-year-old midfielder has completed his medicals and is close to being unveiled as Man Utd’s first signing of the summer.

Recall that Man United reached a new agreement with Chelsea for Mount’s signature after initial talks failed.

It was reported that the Red Devils agreed to a fee of £55m and an additional £5m in add-ons, depending on his performance at Old Trafford.

There are speculations that Mount will sign a five-year deal with an option for an additional year at Man Utd.

His departure from Chelsea comes after Kai Havertz made a switch to the Blues’ EPL rival Arsenal.
