Monaco defender linked to Chelsea
French club AS Monaco Axel Disasi is the latest player to be linked with moves to Chelsea this summer transfer window.
This was made known by popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who said Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement with Monaco for the defender’s signature.
The Blues would pay €15m to Monaco to let Disasi move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Romano made this known in a tweet via his official Twitter handle on Sunday.
“Chelsea are on the verge of reaching an agreement with AS Monaco for French CB Axel Disasi, as @David_Ornstein has reported,” Romano tweeted.
“Negotiation at final stages to be sealed next week after Monaco agreed €15m deal for Salisu as new centre back. Disasi has already accepted.”
Disasi, 25, moved to AS Monaco from French Ligue 1 side Reims in 2020.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are determine to Bolster their squad under their new manager Mauricio Pochettino this summer after finishing in the second half of the Premier League table last season.
