Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has picked his football idol to be Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo.

The English star in a statement said he admired the Al Nassr forward a lot.

Madueke, 22-year-old, made this known ahead of England’s Nations League clash with Greece on Thursday.

Speaking about his idol in football, Madueke in a statement via Mirror Football said, “Cristiano Ronaldo is my idol. I admire a lot of things about him.”

Recall that Madueke moved to Stamford Bridge from PSV Eindhoven in January transfer window in 2023.

He has so far been impressive for Enzo Maresca’s side this season

New day footballers have had to pick between Ronaldo and his rival Lionel Messi as their idols.

Madueke will hope to start for the Three Lions when they take on Greece on Thursday.

He also hope to be available in their Sunday match against Finland as the international break continues.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will be back to club football action after the break as they will make a trip to Anfield to play their Liverpool in their first game.

The Blues have also showed top form under Maresca and will have to prove their worth when they play against a tough Liverpool side.
