Maresca: Two new things to expect from Chelsea’s new manager

Chelsea new manager Enzo Maresca has revealed the new things he would be making once he takes over the reign of the club.

Maresca, who the Blues unveiled as their new manager to replace Mauricio Pochettino in a statement said that he wants to continue the Blues’ tradition of success and make the club’s supporters proud.

The Italian made this known shortly after he was officially unveiled as Chelsea’s new manager on Monday.

Speaking in a statement via Chelsea’s website, the former Leicester City boss said to join the Blues, who are one of the biggest clubs in the world, is a dream for any coach.

He expressed his excitement to be given the opportunity to head the Blues squad next season.

Maresca added that he looked forward to working with a very talented group of players and staff to develop a team that continues the club’s tradition of success and makes our fans proud next campaign.

Maresca arrived at Stamford Bridge following Pochettino’s sack last month.

The reports confirmed that the Italian penned a five-year deal with the Blues and will commence his new role as Chelsea newest manager on 1 July 2024.
