Man Utd vs Aston Villa: Ten Hag speaks ahead of match

Man Utd will on Tuesday host Aston Villa at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

The Red Devils head to the match after they were beaten 2-0 by West Ham United at the London Stadium last weekend, as second-half strikes from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus ensured the Hammers won all three points.

Despite dominating the game against West Ham, Man United left empty-handed.

They will be looking to bounce back with a win against Unai Emery’s side on Tuesday.

In a pre-match statement, Man Utd’s manager Erik ten Hag called on fans to show support for the club.

He said:

“Firstly, I am sure they are very disappointed in us and we have to put things right. We have to do things differently and we really appreciate all the time they’re supporting us, even with the setbacks we have during this season, they’re all the time behind us and we are really appreciative of that. But of course we need any help [we can get]. But first of all, the team and I have to do it.”
