Man Utd told to sign this player as a replacement for Pogba

Former Liverpool footballer and sports pundit John Barnes has advised Manchester United on who to sign as a replacement for Pogba.

Barnes urged the Red Devils to sign Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong as Pogba’s replacement should the France international eventually leave Old Trafford.

According to the former Liverpool star, De Jong would be the perfect replacement for Pogba, who is yet to sign a new contract at Man United.

The Dutch midfielder will be a brilliant signing for Ralf Rangnick’s side.

Recall that Pogba’s contract with Man United will expire next summer.

“Frenkie de Jong would be a brilliant signing for Manchester United,” Barnes told BonusCodeBets.

“It looks like Paul Pogba is on his way out of the club, so bringing in a replacement for him is very important.

“Especially if that person is a young and talented player who will get the opportunity to be one of the main players at the club.

“He [De Jong] has everything in terms of passing range, intensity and a great attitude. It is exactly what Manchester United needs in the midfield.”
