Manchester United are said to be focused on signing Randal Kolo Muani from Frankfurt after it became clear to them that Atalanta will not bulge on their valuation of Rasmus Hojlund, ESPN reported.

The Red Devils are keen on bolstering their squad under manager Erik ten Hag ahead of next season and signing a centre forward after wrapping up a deal for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, is their next focus.

Hojlund was Man Utd’s key target but Atalanta wouldn’t let him leave unless they get at least €70million for the player.

Man United, on the other hand, are, however, unwilling to splash such an amount on the 20-year-old, who scored nine goals in 32 games in Serie A last season, as they believe it is not a fair price.

This made them turn their focus on Kolo Muani, as another option.

The 24-year-old forward scored 23 goals for Frankfurt last season and could be a better addition at Old Trafford.
