Argentina international, Sergio Aguero will move to Barcelona fully on July 1 when his deal with Man City expires.

With Aguero agreeing to a 2 year deal with the Catalans, Man City are now in a hot race to sign a replacement for him.

Man City chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak has said the club would sign the right player to replace the Argentine. This means Man City will be very busy when the summer market commences.

The Citizens chairman also revealed there are other areas in the squad that will also be invested on.

Al Mubarak told City TV: “We lose a very important legend in Sergio Aguero, very hard shoes to fill but I am confident that we will find the right player to fill those shoes.

“There are other areas within the team which need investment, not too many, it’s not about numbers it is about quality. I think the squad is a phenomenal squad, you don’t win the Premier League and reach the Champions League final without that and we have it. We will bring quality into the squad in a couple of key positions.”

Aguero is Man City current highest goalscorer of all time and fourth-highest goalscorer in the premier league with 260 goals in 390 appearances to his name.
