Liverpool set to lose this 25-year-old striker in January

Liverpool are prepared to part ways with Divock Origi as top Premier League sides are looking to sign the Belgium striker in the January transfer window.

The summer arrival of Diogo Jota has seen the striker slid down the pecking order at Anfield where he has since played just seven Premier League minutes this season.

Origi has also made a total of seven appearances across all competitions for Liverpool this season, with complete omission from the topflight matchday squad on three occasions in 2020/21.

With the season getting more intense, chances that he will be appearing for Liverpool is limited and the club are ready to jump on any suitable offer for him.

The 25-year-old is attracting interest from Wolves, who are in the market for a forward in the winter as Raul Jimenez continues his recovery from a fractured skull.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool are not actively looking to part ways with Origi but will listen to offers and not stand in his way should a suitable one be submitted by Wolves.

With the European Championship next summer, Origi will be eager to seek a move elsewhere as he was not named in Belgium squad for November International break.

Though, Wolves have not made contact with Liverpool as they continue to weigh up their options in the market, but Origi will likely leave as soon as the January transfer window opens.
