Arsenal Handed Curtis Jones Transfer Boost as Inter Milan Prepare to Walk Away from Liverpool Talks

Arsenal could emerge as surprise contenders for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones after Inter Milan reportedly warned the Premier League champions that they are prepared to walk away from negotiations if their valuation remains unchanged.

Liverpool have already seen significant changes to their squad this summer. Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate have both departed on free transfers, while Mohamed Salah is widely expected to complete a lucrative move away from Anfield. Further exits are also being discussed, with Jones, Alisson Becker and Alexis Mac Allister all attracting interest from clubs across Europe.

Inter Milan have identified Jones as a priority midfield target and are believed to value the England international at around €20 million. However, Liverpool are demanding a fee in excess of €30 million and are also said to be pushing for additional terms, including a potential sell-on clause, creating a significant gap between the two clubs.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has previously revealed that Jones is open to joining the Serie A giants, but negotiations remain complicated due to the differing valuations. Inter are reportedly unwilling to increase their offer substantially and could abandon the pursuit if Liverpool refuse to soften their stance.

With uncertainty surrounding the midfielder’s future, Arsenal have been mentioned as a club to monitor should Jones become more attainable later in the transfer window. The Gunners are expected to strengthen their midfield options before the new season, and any breakdown in talks between Liverpool and Inter could present an opportunity.

For now, Liverpool remain firm in their valuation, leaving Inter with a decision to either improve their offer or step away, while Arsenal continue to watch developments closely.
