Lampard reveals Manchester City’s weakness ahead of Premier League clash

As Chelsea prepare for their first match of 2021 against Manchester City on Sunday, Frank Lampard has opened up on the citizens weakness.

Frank Lampard and his Chelsea team are currently not having the season they would have hoped for in the Premier League as they’ve not been convincing with their performance home and away for the past few weeks.

Their last against high-flying Aston Villa ended in draw and the Blues will be eager to rejuvenate their season when they meet Pep Guardiola’s team on Sunday.

Manchester City have had some days off after match against Everton was postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in the team and with the squad given the green light to return to training, Lampard has shared the weakness link in the team.

The Englishman during his press conference noted that in terms of Manchester City weaknesses, he can’t figure out any as they are just a very strong outfit, very well managed.

Lampard insisted that Manchester City has lots of threats so his team will have to focus on themselves and do their best.

The former Chelsea midfielder stated that he’s confident his young team adding that when they play at Stamford Bridge, as well as they can, then they have an opportunity to beat anybody.

Lampard who reminisced on the blues last victory against Manchester City stated that Pep Guardiola’s team are such a good possession-based team but he’s confident his players will try their best to win.
