Lampard defends Boehly, tips 3 players to be successful at Chelsea
Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has shared his take on how the club is being run under American billionaire Todd Boehly.
Lampard, who was the Blues interim manager last season after Graham Potter was fired defended how Boehly runs the EPL club as he stressed that they have good intentions.
The former manager said the Blues has splashed money on new players to rebuild the club as he went on to tip the trio of Enzo Fernandez, Mudryk, and Noni Madueke to be successful at Stamford Bridge.
In an interview on The Diary of a CEO podcast, Lampard said: “Their intentions to do a good job are amazing; they want to take the club and be the best. They have great intentions.
“They’ve spent the money because they want to do well. If they’re going to address the situation, that is their strategy going forward, but I do think you will see players like Fernandez, Mudryk, and Madueke develop, and they’re going to be big players for the club.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea will begin a new season under Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager.
