Former Chelsea midfielder and France star N’Golo Kante has been linked with a return to Europe, with reports stating that he could join La Liga side Barcelona.

It is said that the Catalans are monitoring multiple targets this summer as they look to make some new signings under new manager, Hansi Flick.

Recall that Flick arrived at Barcelona as a replacement for Xavi, who was sacked at the end of the season.

A report via Sport disclosed that Barcelona have set their eyes on Kante, who is currently plays in the Saudi Arabian league.

The La Liga side want to replace Sergio Busquets after Oriol Romeu failed to live up to expectations.

Aside from Kante, Barcelona have their eyes on Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich and Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad.

However, securing a deal for these players have proven to be a challenge for Barca.

This has made them consider alternatives and Kante has emerged as an option.
