Chelsea may soon have to path ways with one of their stars Trevor Chalobah this summer transfer window.

This comes as the Blues newly appointed manager Enzo Maresca gave approval for Chalobah’s exit from Stamford Bridge.

Maresca made headlines after he left out Chalobah from his squad for the US pre-season tour.

It is said that the new manager considers Chalobah surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Recall that Chalobah took part in the Blues pre-season training at Cobham this month.

However, with the current situation, the defender is now expected to seek a permanent transfer away this summer.

There are speculations that Maresca believes Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi and new summer signing Tosin Adarabioyo can provide quality and squad depth as right-sided centre-backs.

The manager will use pre-season to monitor closely highly-rated Cobham prospect Josh Acheampong as a right-back alternative to club captain Reece James and Malo Gusto.

Recall that Chalobah was linked with a transfer away from Chelsea last summer but he turned down a £25 million offer from Nottingham Forest on deadline day.

So far this summer, he has attracted interest from West Ham who are ready to sign him.

We will have to wait to see the next club Chalobah will sign for.
