Inter Milan ready to sign Chelsea defender this summer

Inter Milan are supposedly ready to sign Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri this summer.

The Italy international has just played 11 time for Chelsea during the 2020-21 season, while he has not featured under Thomas Tuchel in the Champions League or Premier League since the manager’s arrival.

The 26-year-old was involved in the FA Cup against Barnsley in February but is behind both Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell in the pecking order for the left-back spot.

The Italian was connected with a return to Serie A the previous summer, and as per report, Inter manager Antonio Conte needs to bring him to San Siro ahead of next season.

Emerson Palmieri‘s present contract at Stamford Bridge is expected to terminate next June, implying that he could be accessible at a reduced fee in the impending market.

The left-back has recently played in Serie A for both Palermo and Roma.
