How Chelsea can sign David Alaba ahead of PSG, Real Madrid and others

Austria international, David Alaba remains one of the most sought after defenders in Europe.

Topping the list of clubs interested in sign him is Chelsea who want him as a replacement for an ageing Thiago Silva.

Others who are also on the lookout and could make a move in the summer transfer window are Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain PSG and Man Utd.

Alana will be a free agent in the summer as he has failed to reach an agreement with German side, Bayern Munich in the bid to extend his contract.

A recent report has however revealed that Alaba has dropped a tip for any club willing to sign him.

According to the reports, the Bundesliga star defender wants to move from defence to central midfield.

So far in his stay at Bayern Munich, Alaba has been deployed as both a left-back and centre-back part of why he is considered one of the most highly-rated defenders in Europe.

He has also been deployed in the midfield which makes him a versatile player.

According to Le Parisien, the key to any club securing his services in the summer will be an understanding that he wishes to play as a midfielder in the future.

It is uncertain if Chelsea will be able to accede to his request because they have players in that area already
