Hazard linked with shocking link to Chelsea’s rival

Former Chelsea star and Belgium international Eden Hazard has been linked with a return to the EPL where he would play for Arsenal.

A report via French publication Foot Mercato claimed Arsenal are interested in signing Hazard, who currently plays for Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga.

The report claimed that the Gunners have ‘initiated the first contact’ in talks between both camps and could strike a deal to sign Hazard in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is reportedly keen to add Hazard’s experience to bolster his options across their front line as they hope to become a contender for the EPL title next season.

Hazard, who joined the Los Blancos from Chelsea in 2019, has struggled to put up an impressive performance at the club.

And this has made Real Madrid willing to let him leave during the summer transfer window.

Aside from the Gunners, Newcastle United are also said to be interested in the Belgium international.
