Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has highlighted his team performance against Luton Town in the fourth round of FA Cup.

A hattrick from Tammy Abraham ensured that Chelsea left Stamford Bridge smiling following weeks of unimpressive performance that have seen them slip down the league table.

Chelsea is currently ninth on the table and are favourite to win the match against Luton Town which they did thrillingly.

With Frank Lampard already feeling the heat that comes with being a coach at Chelsea, the English trainer acknowledged it was an important game to win and progress further in the competition

Lampard who couldn’t hide his excitement also heaped praise on some of the younger names in the side for their showing.

The former Chelsea midfielder stated that it’s important to go through and this is a competition the Blues have had success within the modern era.

Lampard noted that expectations are that they go through in this tie but in practice that’s not as simple as it sounds with the blues forced to work hard by Luton Town.
