Former player who could help Arsenal sign Mbappe revealed
Arsenal have been linked with moves to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe this summer transfer window.
While the Gunners may not have the financial resource to pull this off, the club’s former star, Ray Parlour recently made a bold claim about how his former teammate, Thierry Henry, could help the North London club sign Mbappe.
It is no longer news that Mbappe wants to leave the Parc des Princes this summer, with Spanish club Real Madrid named as the favourite to sign the 24-year-old.
Parlour, however, believes Henry could use his French connection with Mbappe to help the Gunners win the race.
“I’m sure Thierry [Henry] could play a role if there was genuine interest from both Arsenal and Mbappe.
“We all know that rumours can be a bit silly, but how exciting would that be if Arsenal could bring a player like Mbappe?
“We love the rumours and the gossip – it’s a big part of football. That is the kind of rumour that as an Arsenal fan, you want to be hearing,” Parlour said on JBI Training.
