Former player slams Chelsea over poor form

Former Chelsea star William Gallas has reacted to the club’s form under manager Mauricio Pochettino as he added that they don’t know what they are doing.

Gallas doesn’t understand why the Blues could splash over £1 billion on players but still could not sign experienced players.

The former defender said the Blues do not have a squad capable of winning the Premier League despite their huge spending.

So far the Blues have signed 22 players and have sold off the likes of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, Loftus-cheek and many others.

“It feels like Chełsea don’t really know what they are doing,” he told Gambling Zone.

“They have bought a lot of young players, given them 7-8 year contracts, and it looks like they are thinking about the future, instead of thinking about trying to win the Premier League this season. That is my concern.

“You can’t win the Premier League with only young players who don’t have experience,” he added.
