Former Manchester United manager set to raid the club for signature of talented left-back

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a move for the red devils left-back Alex Telles as he tends to start his new adventure with Roma.

Jose Mourinho joined Roma after he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in the later stage of last season, and he’s ready to change the look of things in the Seria A club.

The Portuguese has already brought in Rui Patricio from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and he wants Telles to join him at Stadio Olimpico.

This latest report was shared by popular Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano who told his followers that a deal for Telles to replace the injured Leonardo Spinazzola is now complicated.

According to Romano, Roma will try again to reach a deal over the next few days noting that United have no intention to accept a loan as things stand.

Telles has failed to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team at United, with the former Porto player appearing on just nine occasions for the red devils last season.

The left-back joined Manchester United for a fee of £15.4m from Porto last October and has not been shy in revealing his desire to play in front of a packed Old Trafford.
