Former Man Utd coach warns Erik Ten Hag against taking up job at Old Trafford

Former Man Utd coach Louis Van Gaal has warned Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag against taking up a coaching job at Old Trafford.
According to Van Gaal, Man United is a commercial club and not a football club.
Recall that Ten Hag has been interviewed by the Red Devils decision-makers and is among the leading candidates to become Man United’s next manager.
“I think Erik ten Hag is a great coach, he has shown that several times,” Van Gaal was quoted by Dutch outlet AD as saying.
“And a great coach is always good for Manchester United.”
He added, “Manchester United is a commercial club and those are difficult choices for a coach. It is better to go to a football club. I am not going to supervise his career and he will call me himself. But he should choose a football club, not a commercial club.”
Aside from Ten Hag, Man Utd have also been linked with Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, among others.
