Former Chelsea and now Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel, wants the German club to utilize Manchester United’s struggle to get a deal with Chelsea for midfielder Mason Mount, according to The Guardian.

This comes as Man United saw their third and final offer for Mount turned down by Chelsea on Friday night, with their offer of £50 million plus £5m in add-ons falling short of the Blues’ £65m asking price.

With the look of things, Man United have dropped out of the race for Mount and are now stepping up interest in Brighton’s Moises Caicedo instead.

This has paved the way for clubs like Bayern Munich, who are already positioning themselves to hijack the deal.

Tuchel who is a big fan of Mount, who he coached during his time at Stamford Bridge is keen on reuniting with the England international at Bayern.

Chelsea are likely to listen to Bayern’s bid for Mount and could sell to them than to a direct Premier League rival.
