Former Chelsea and now Tottenham Hotspur coach Antonio Conte on Saturday played EPL toppers Man City.

The match ended in an unexpected way as Tottenham defeated Man City in a 3-2 scoreline.

Tottenham Hotspurs scored the lead from Kulusevski in the fourth minute of the game.

Man City would later score an equaliser before the break as captain Ilkay Gundogan fired home from close range.

England international Harry Kane would go on to score a second goal after a pass from Heung-Min Son, which saw the Conte’s squad take the lead.

Again Man City scored an equaliser thanks to effort from Riyad Mahrez, who scored a stoppage-time penalty.

Kane would again fire a second goal for the Hotspurs to defeat Man City right at the Etihad stadium.

Conte, in a post-match statement, admitted his side was happy to concede possession to Man City and take their chances on the counter-attack.

“It was an emotional game for sure, it was an exciting game.

“We played a good game. We followed a plan. Manchester City would keep possession for 65 to 70 minutes for the game so we needed to be good tactically. But even when defending our first thought should be to attack.

“We created chances and scored good goals against a fantastic team. This win will give us more confidence. It wasn’t simple to play Manchester City after three losses in a row,” Conte said.
